量的緩和縮小

ＦＲＢは昨年９月に「量的緩和第３弾（ＱＥ３）」を開始。

現在は毎月、米長期国債を４５０億ドル（４・７兆円）分、住宅ローン担保証券（ＭＢＳ）を４００億ドル（４・２兆円）分、合計８５０億ドル分の金融資産を市場から買い上げ、大量のお金を流している。
3.
１８日の会合では、来年１月から、米国債の毎月の購入額を５０億ドル少ない４００億ドルに、ＭＢＳの購入額も５０億ドル少ない３５０億ドルに減らすことを決めた。
4.
毎月の合計の購入額は、１００億ドル分少ない７５０億ドルに縮小することになる。

０８年９月のリーマン・ショック後に急激に悪化した米国経済を下支えするため、ＦＲＢは０８年末から、市場に大量のお金を流す量的緩和策をおこなってきた。

現在は第３弾の最中だが、これを縮小させ始めることで、異例の緩和策は巻き戻しに向かう。

バーナンキ議長は、声明発表後の会見で「米国経済は緩やかなペースで拡大してきた。
