The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare announced on the ninth that it had been confirmed that three Japanese men who returned home to New Tokyo International Airport by service from U.S. Detroit had been infected with new influenza. Three people to whom infection was confirmed are two students at the same school in his/her teens with one teacher at Osaka prefectural high school in his/her forties. It short-term went to study abroad in Oakville in Canada from April 24th to May 7th, and it returned home by way of U.S. Detroit. When arriving at Narita, three people had conditions such as generation of heat and coughs.

It is said that the positive reaction of A type influenza is shown by the simple examination in three people and airports, and positive reaction was shown in new influenza as a result of inspecting the gene in the airport.

Three people have received treatment in the hospital in the vicinity of the airport now. Classmates who had gotten on the same mail and the crew and passenger have received administering the antiviral drug for prevention.
